As a fully managed service, the iManage™ Remote Router Management Service supports the key monitoring and control of all your devices. This includes traffic statistics, connection times, traffic loads, also the ability to execute global software updates of firmware or key modules.

The software update facility allows for custom scripts to be remotely loaded on the Server, PC, Laptop/Netbook and can be executed immediately or at a scheduled time.

A typical application is that a company has deployed a sophisticated software system to Laptop/Netbook computers throughout their organization. Over time software updates need to be applied or features added to the existing system.

Using iManage™ Remote Router Management Service, this software can be seamlessly delivered to the users computer and upgraded. Additionally, patches to local files may need to be applied. Using the iManage™ platform these patches can be applied without user intervention, saving on training and potential security breaches to the system.

iManage™ supports 3G/4G routers with external digital, analog and RS-232 serial data interfaces which can be monitored and controlled.

Another application is the control of a remote relay to power cycle a crashed Automatic Teller Machine (ATM). The router incorporates a local software sensor to detect if the machine fails, to respond to simple queries. If the machine fails an alarm is raised and then either automatically or manually the device can be remotely power cycled.

The iManage™ Remote Router Management Service scales as your devices and networks grow from hundreds to hundreds of thousands of devices.
